Spinney Theatre Alleycats Theatre School

Easter 3rd April - 5th April 2012

Summer 30th July - 3rd August     and     6th August - 10th August 2012

Alleycats Summer School is open to any between the ages of 6 to 18. You don't need any theatre experience, this is your chance to gain confidence in performing arts and make friends at the same time! Each day will include classes in singing, drama, street dance, musical theatre and even Circus! Come try your hand at plate spinning, diablo, tightrope and trapeze!

At the end of the week there will be a spectacular performance where everybody taking part will showcase their new skills in the newly refurbished Spinney Theatre. This performance is free to anybody who wants to come watch.

Registration is from 8:30am to 9:15am and collection is between 4 and 4:30pm.

The cost is £50 per week per child for Easter and £80 per week per child for Summer.

Welcome to Theatre Summer school's new weekly youth theatre!

After the tremendous success of the Theatre Summer School 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 we are pleased to announce the start of our weekly youth theatre - The Spinney Theatre AlleyCats.

If your child is aged between 8-18 yrs and looking for an invaluable theatre experience, then the Spinney Theatre AlleyCats is for them. There is no experience necessary and we aim to encourage children to express themselves and gain confidence regardless of their ability. The youth theatre runs every Monday evening during term time and will cover Street Dance, Musical Theatre, Circus Skills, Drama, Dance and Singing. AlleyCats Youth Theatre runs every Monday evening during term time.

Age 8 - 11 6pm - 7pm £3

Age 11- 18 6pm - 8pm £5

The Spinney Theatre coffee bar in the foyer will be open for mums and dads to relax and have a coffee and wait for sessions to finish.

There is no pre-booking necessary - Just turn up ready to go!
